Saviours Processes & Services Guard Selection Criteria and Job Training

Most of M/s Saviours Security Services (SMC-Private) Limited guards belong to the Armed Forces and their selection and maintenance is dependent upon their physical appearance, health, age, duration of service in the armed forces and character. Each regional office maintains and operates a training room with requisite facilities to enhance the capacity of guards in weapon handling and firing for various jobs and locations. We also focus training on first- aid, personal search, and vehicle search, fire fighting emergency response procedure, health and safety at work. In addition M/s Saviours Security Services (SMC-Private) Limited also provides on job training and specialized training such a Security and Protection Courses from the Elite Police Training School and Askari Guards.

Guard’s Fighting Ability:

  • Most of security guards and supervisors are retired personnel from Armed Forces and have been amply trained during their active service. However, the Company has also established training rooms at Regional Offices to impart initial and on job training to guards, refresher training sessions are carried out regularly at different intervals. Depending upon the sensitivity of M/s Saviours Security Services (SMC-Private) Limited clients, special sessions are also conducted as part of on job training. In addition, to ensure fitness and agility to perform standing duty, the maximum age limit of guards is laid down as maximum 50 years.

Guard’s Educational Qualification:

  • Most of security guards being ex-soldiers are either matriculates or have received education from Army during their service. Education of civilian guards is generally Matric and above.
